Many clubs have found this book a useful accompanyment to teaching Traditional Sword Dances and many clubs in such places as America, Belgium, Australia, Holland and many other countries as well as here in Britain have adopted this book as their primary teaching aid and source of information. Indeed many new clubs have been formed throughout the world as a result of getting hold of a copy of this book and being able to learn the dances and the tunes from it.

in depth information on 28 traditional Longsword dances along with easy to follow diagrams and written instructions showing the figures of each dance, musical notation for the tunes and information on the origins and history of each dance. Also contained within the book are several black and white photographs showing the Sword Dance teams and their costumes.
