A tale from the Yellow Book of Lecan, seen by some as a precursor of Tristan & Iseult, this was probably first written down in the 9th and revised in the 10th centuries. The story itself is very ancient. Old-Irish text with some later Middle-Irish material, not to be confused with modern Irish Gaelic.
