69 pp including extensive Notes and Vocabulary. This copy belonged to scholar Dorothy Molloy Carpenter and has her name and a date in ballpoint along with extensive pencilled notes, underlining and marginalia A tale from the Yellow Book of Lecan, seen by some as a precursor of Tristan & Iseult, this was probably first written down in the 9th and revised in the 10th centuries. The story itself is very ancient. Old-Irish text with some later Middle-Irish material, not to be confused with modern Irish Gaelic.
